Due to the retirement of our wonderful inclusion leader, we are seeking to recruit a SENCO to work in our inclusive school based on our core Christian Values. St Mark’s CE Primary School is an inner city school which is about to face a massive change. We are going to grow into the first All-Through School in Southampton, so this role would be perfect for somebody who enjoys a challenge and will enjoy being on a building site!

In order to secure the best candidate, we are looking for a 0.6 SENCO with an option to work the additional 0.4 in class if you wish to work full time. Ideally the applicant will have the SENCO accreditation or be working towards this. We are looking for someone who will enhance our current practice to make our school even better.

Our school is full of fantastic children, with on average 25% on the SEN register and 3% with EHCPs.  We have a range of complex needs in the school which makes our school the vibrant place it is.
