We are seeking to appoint a fantastic teacher to work in our School in Year R.  Candidates should be specialists in Early Years and be prepared to contribute to, and deliver, a diverse curriculum that gives our children the best education available.  Our children are wonderfully diverse and create days filled with joy and a sprinkle of challenge!  We pride ourselves on developing teachers through personalised CPD within the classroom and/or through external quality training depending on individual teacher needs and wants.  This was highlighted as a strength by OFSTED in our “good” inspection outcome in September 2017.

In September 2018 we federated with St Johns Primary School meaning opportunities for developments are extended.  In addition to this we are currently in consultation to be the first All-Through School in Southampton.  If successful this will mean a complete rebuild of our EYFS provision, which the right candidate can be involved in creating.  If you want to work in a place filled with our Core Christian Values of Love, Inclusion, equality and respect then St Mark’s is for you!

Informal enquiries and visits to our school are welcomed.

St Mark’s Church of England Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

This role requires an enhanced DBS.
